Search Specialist

Overall summary:

As a Search Specialist, you will work closely with several teams, including Account Managers and Digital Project Managers. You would form part of the Digital Strategy Team, where your main focus will be to provide on-going, proactive support to your SEO Manager/s. This includes executing SEO/SEM daily functions, uploading and optimising YouTube content and performing Analytics related research, tasks, projects and reporting. You’ll manage all of this whilst also proactively building your own knowledge of the digital ecosystem and the field of SEO because you just can’t get enough of “the Google”!


  • Involvement in technical, on-page and off-page SEO, content strategies and project support with your broader Search team

  • Providing analyses, insights and data-informed decisions for various client briefs

  • Working with your team to ensure and maintain the integrity of client accounts by having a robust objectives-tailored SEO strategy in place

  • Shift between SEO, Google Analytics and YouTube execution, research, strategy, maintenance and at times, reporting

  • Gravitate between various responsibilities, clients’ brands, projects and briefs.

Experience / knowledge required

  • Please note that if you do not have experience with some of the tools / skills mentioned below, we are happy to teach you, although experience with these tools is definitely advantageous.

  • 1-3 years’ experience in search.
    Must demonstrate data interpretation capabilities to drive insights and opportunities.

  • A keen interest for, or experience with, other areas of the digital eco-system, such as eCommerce, consumer research, social or paid media are advantageous.

  • Experience with tools such as Sitebulb, Screaming Frog, Xenu, AWRCloud, Ahrefs, CrazyEgg, SEMRush, Moz, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and YouTube are all advantageous.

  • Pro-active, innovative and creative, with a concise, precise and effective approach to problem solving. 

  • Confident, outspoken and passionate about presenting his/her work, findings and ideas to clients or team/s.

  • A passion for emerging platforms and a good knowledge of effective SEO strategies and techniques as well as Google algorithm updates are advantageous.

  • This position is full time and fully in English.
